Phil Wortley MRICS
Regional Director
and Chartered Surveyor
Having studied at Leicester University at the end of the 1990s, Phil worked for Vodafone as a project manager. In 2007 he qualified as a Home Inspector ready to complete reports under the government’s requirements for Home Information Packs. After completing a conversion course and qualifying as a technical surveyor and associate member of the RICS in 2008, Phil completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying at the University of Reading and gained Chartered status in May 2015. He lives with his wife and two children in South Oxfordshire.

Chartered & Associate Surveyors
We currently have vacancies for experienced Chartered and Associate Surveyors.
Whilst experience is important, we are also able to provide appropriate training to help the right person achieve their potential in the array of services we provide our clients.


Kevin Pearce
Domestic Energy Assessor
Kevin joined us in 2014 as an experienced domestic energy assessor, with a family background in construction. Kevin is concientious in his work and prides himself on his quick turn-around times for Energy Performance Certificates ensuring clients can market their properties as soon as possible.

Lynne Gray
Administrator
Lynne joined the team in 2017 and provides a first port of call for all clients. She also provides administration support for the surveyors.
Lynne has worked in many support roles and has lived in the Reading area for many years.



Clare Wortley
Part Time Administrator
Clare provides cover in the office for sickness and holiday. She is a qualified teacher and very able administrator.

Michael Wortley FRICS
Founder
July 1952 - November 2012
Michael was one of the founders of Allied Surveyors and served on the board as Chairman. Michael passed away on 23rd November 2012.
