Phil Wortley MRICS
Regional Director
and Chartered Surveyor
Having studied at Leicester University at the end of the 1990s, Phil worked for Vodafone as a project manager. In 2007 he qualified as a Home Inspector ready to complete reports under the government’s requirements for Home Information Packs. After completing a conversion course and qualifying as a technical surveyor and associate member of the RICS in 2008, Phil completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying at the University of Reading and gained Chartered status in May 2015. He lives with his wife and two children in South Oxfordshire and currently sits on the Management Board of Allied Surveyors.
James Kerman AssocRICS
Associate Surveyor
James, who joined the business in 2021 has over 20 years experience of working in the residential property field across London and the southeast. James holds RICS registered valuer status and carries out residential valuations and homebuyer surveys across the Thames Valley area.
James lives with his family in South Oxfordshire.
Gobin Boolaky MRICS
Chartered Surveyor
Gobin runs the Allied Surveyors Haselmere office, but also provides consultancy for the Thames Valley office. Gobin has a wealth of experience in both corporate and private practice and has previous operated as a staff valuer for various banks.

Clare Wortley
Part Time Administrator
Clare provides cover in the office for sickness and holiday. She is a qualified teacher and very able administrator.
Michael Wortley FRICS
Founder
July 1952 - November 2012
Michael was one of the founders of Allied Surveyors and served on the board as Chairman. Michael passed away on 23rd November 2012.

Lynne Gray
Part Time Adminstrator
Lynne joined the team in 2017 and provides a first port of call for all clients. She also provides administration support for the surveyors.
Lynne has worked in many support roles and has lived in the Reading area for many years.
Bev Jacob
Part Time Administrator
Bev is the newest member of our team, joining Lynne in providing the administration support for our surveyors.
Bev comes from a background of working in hospitality and has a keen interest in equestrian sport.
